Curious Keys

COVID-19 Policy

Covid-19 Policy for Curious Keys Music School

We have implemented the following in order to keep all our students and teachers safe and well. These details will be amended and updated in accordance with guidelines issued by the HSE and the Department of Education.

1: There will be hand sanitizer stations upon entry to the school and in each classroom. It is mandatory to use these before and after your lesson for both teachers and students.

2: To ensure that there are a minimum number of people in the building at any given time, we kindly ask that you arrive at your lesson on time and refrain from spending unnecessary time before or after your lesson in the building.

3: Teachers may opt to wear face-masks at certain times throughout the year when the risk of COVID-19 infection is higher. This is up to each individual teacher. Unless guidelines change, students are not required to wear face-masks.

Symptoms

If a student displays symptoms of Covid-19 then you must not attend your lesson. A zoom lesson may be arranged for you during your allocated lesson time instead. You must let us know 2 hours before your lesson if you require a zoom lesson to be arranged instead of an in – person lesson.

If a teacher is not able to attend due to Covid-19 symptoms then the lessons will be offered either online or made-up to the student during the missed lessons time-frames outlined in the Terms and Conditions.

All of our teachers have completed a Covid-19 safety course and are up to date with guidelines for best practices regarding singing and instrument tuition.

Please note that in the event that there is another lockdown and classes have to cease in-person, the term will continue online. If you do not wish to take your lesson online in this scenario your lesson fees will be rolled over to the next term.
